Takoma "Tess"

Takoma is a Native American name meaning “high, next to heaven.” Tess is a 1997 mare by Pluto II Balmora IV out of Triesta,  She was bred by Nancy Madison of White Horse Farm, Mayo, MD. Tess was lightly shown attended exhibitions and clinics and produced some lovely foals, Tokata, Talisa and Maestoso Takoma.  She is ridden for pleasure still at 25. She is of the Europa Mare Family.

"Talisa" is Creek meaning Beautiful Water.  Talisa was foaled 5/28/08 at Touchstone Acres. Her sire is 261 Marestoso Samira XXI and her dam, Takoma.  She has been my favorite "in your pocket pony"  since birth. Talisa travels uphill with good reach. She is forward and sensitive but sensible.
