We have young horses from foals to three years on these pages.
In 2009, we had one foal, a colt born 5/17 by Neapolitano Amiata, an imported Italian Lipizzan. The dam is Altamira.
In 2008 we had four foals, three Lipizzans and one Foundation Quarter Horse. All are nice yearlings now growing like weeds.
From 2007 we are keeping a two and a half year old Quarter Horse being prepped for NRHA Derbies and Futurities in Ohio. Spark is in training with Steve Siadik of STS Performance Horses. We visited him 4/25/09 and he is doing quite well and thriving there. When we walked into the barn his nose stuck out the feed door as far as possible in greeting. Video available on Photobucket.
Our Lipizzans of 2007 are in their new homes. Adena is in Canada and Balinna in Tennessee. Both fillies are by our stallion.
Our three and a half year old Lipizzans are both started under saddle. Both attended a breed show in 2008 and learned to wear bridles and show in hand. This year they learned lungeing and ground driving, and were recently backed.
