Altamira (Spanish name meaning “high, lofty”)

Altamira is a 1998 Lipizzan, 15.1h. She has had six elegant foals. A filly by Siglavy XI-6 was foaled in 2005. A colt by 829 Favory VII Andorella was foaled in 2006. One filly by our stallion 261 Maestoso Samira XXI was born in 2007 and another in 2008.  A colt by Neapolitano Amiata was foaled in 2009.  Altamira has another lovely filly by our stallion in 2010.

“Mira” has shown in breed classes and at expos; and was approved for breeding by retired director Spanish Riding School. Altamira is sired by the award winning “Smokey”, 416 Maestoso II Sabrina, USDF 1989 Intermediaire and 1989-90 I-Freestyle HOY; 1990 AHSA I-Freestyle Reserve Champion. She is registered USLR.

Altamira is for sale as I cut back on breeding - she is our best broodmare, sound and has a couple years experience under saddle  before she started her broodmare career.  She is back under saddle, enjoying her work.
